The "nuclear option" so frequently brought up by the MSM or main (Sarah Palan's "lame" stream) stream media has been fairly foaming at the lips for the GOP to finish off the filibuster - so used by mostly Democrats - to thwart lower nominations by the minority GOP under Obama - when Democrats sought to "clean out the outhouse down low" - and put undesirables to work for Obama. Sen. Harry Reid reserved the Supreme Court nominees at 60 keeping a majority party from totally "ruling the roost" as chickens tend to do. The "chickens" got very "barnyard" about it in 2013 so NOW the media is "going hydrophobia or "mad dog" for the GOP to finish off the filibuster that the media tarnished by reporting the Sen. Ted Cruz had "nothing to talk about" so READ children's books to pass the filibuster time. Don't laugh...the filibuster was so to be avoided that NO APOINTEE of Trump was to be worth the "embarassing effort" of being 51 voted in by a "simple majority" should the Democrats feel like filibustering. Did "power happy" Democrats lead by Majority Leader Sen. Harry Reid "spoil their own pudding" when they passed the Democrat-named "Nuclear Option" to keep Republicans from filibustering measures and appointees -- unwanted by the American public? It would seem so when Democrats sought to filibuster decent, upstanding high-ranking Judge Neil Gorsuch knowing that not-so-righteous judges like Ruth Bader Ginsburg got 98 votes for no apparent reason. Sen. John F. McCain even brought up his admiration "out of the blue" for Supreme Court Justice Ginsburg seeking to shave points from his boosted "favorability rating" he unexpectedly acquired with VP selection Palin with all of 6 electoral votes. He was "scared straight" that he might win the popular vote encouraging the GOP to fight Obama for years. He knew for a certainty that he would lose the electoral vote by a hefty margin allowing Obama an easy win, but his popularity rise from selecting Sarah Palin was cause for concern. Being very aware of the shock and dismay that Ginsburg had "somehow won" after it became aware of her 90+ bias against "diversity in hiring" mono-chrome assistant-hiring was seen by over 200,000,000 Americans as a "sure-fire disqualifier" - Ginsgurg nonetheless - got the Supreme Court seat for life after August 1993. It seems like she's been ensconced there infesting the court -- for 150 years. So on April 2, 2017, Democrats had rallied enough support for a filibuster of "goody-two shoes" Judge Neil Gorsuch, forcing Republicans to prepare to trigger the “nuclear option” to install President Trump’s first nominee to the U.S. Supreme Court "by Friday". Sen. Jon Tester announced that very Sunday that he would join fellow Democrats’ filibuster in a signal that Republicans most likely would not be able to "unpartisan Democrats" to rally the measly 8 votes to reach the critical 60 votes needed to overcome the blockade on Judge Gorsuch, a well-regarded jurist who’s been "rep sullied" by anti-Trump politicians. Senate Minority Leader Charles E. Schumer was "quick to gloat" earlier Sunday on NBC’s “Meet the Press,” claiming victory in the filibuster fight.“Looks like we have the 60 — the votes to prevent Gorsuch from getting on,” (Now if GOP is too stupid to use the Democrats' so-called-"Nuclear Option" for "fear of toxic radiation" from the lapdog Democrat-loving media - Gorsuch will FAIL despite his sterling reputation, character and ethics so disparaged by Democrats who loath him with "white hot hatred" for his "decency and respectability", not to mention being an UGGG - life-long Republican. Republicans fully aware that the Democrats had "shot off their feet" with the "nuclear option" sabotaging the very filibuster they had used so well to fight civil rights legislation in the 1960s. Their long-serving hero, Sen. Robert "Bobby" Byrd had set a record with his rally of Democrat bigotry. No matter what Democrats do, the outcome will be the same: Judge Gorsuch will be sitting on the court in a matter of days. All that remains is whether Democrats force — and Republicans follow through on — a major change to filibuster rules. On or before November 21, 2013, Senate Democrats changed the Senate's rules to allow a simple majority confirm most presidential nominees, defying opposition from Republicans who called it the most dangerous revision of its process in more than two centuries. Mr. Schumer bragged on NBC that his Democrat friends would not break ranks to allow 8 or 10 bi-partisan votes. Mr. Tester becomes the second senator heavily targeted Democratic senator to oppose Judge Gorsuch, citing concerns over abortion and campaign finance — both areas where the judge would only say he respects precedent, but wouldn’t commit to upholding the one and overturning the other, as Democrats would want in their "ideally pre- biased candidate". If MOST of the 52 Republicans had PROMISED a "NO" vote on the "steaming pile" next Democrat Supreme Court candidate --sight unseen -- since the last two were such floating unpolishable gems of elimination -- THE 10 would have been EASY to get for Gorsuch's 60 but many GOP are Establishment types like Linsay Graham and John McCain who openly professed LOATHING for Trump -- and probably threatened the others. Why would they do that --EASY --they are as sore a bunch of LOSERS as Hillary Clinton and the Democrats. IF Republicans in that same 52-48 decide to make the media "crazy with joy" because the Democrats are NOT to be persuaded to vote for a decent judge - the nuclear option will be RE-ASSIGNED to the GOP FOREVER because basically the GOP Establishment is siding with the Democrats against Trump -- and his unlucky pick. Neil Gorsuch is unfortunate because he does not suit liberal Democrats who will AVENGE THEMSELVES on their own "mates" the way the GOP NEVER WOULD. And THAT'S why the richly GOP deserves to change the filibuster rules UNTIL AFTER GORSUCH is on the bench -- just to SPITE THE DEMOCRATS. AFTER Gorsuch is safely seated -- the GOP SHOULD CHANGE EVERYTHING BACK TO PRE-2013. That way the MINORITY PARTY will have the filibuster option NOT A NUCLEAR NEVERMIND. That's the way the U.S. Constitution intended the USA to be. And those who disfavor the Electoral College in favor of MOB er Democratic voting - should be PUNISHED when the RIOT -- with or without masks.
